Coachwhips and malpolon
As I've had a reminder email to get me to post on here, then here is some of my snakes.
Not many people keep either of these types but i think they are very underrated.

Re: Coachwhips and malpolon
nice!!!
I've always liked malpalon, strangely similar to a Masticophis too.
I only have one coachwhip, but I think they are neat.
they are my favorite snakes to find when im herping.

Re: Coachwhips and malpolon
Those are some awesome looking specimens. I've wanted a couple of coachwhips, and racers for some time now. Do you know where to aquire any? I'd really prefer easterns, but would want them if they were westerns too, and I'd love to get my hands on a black racer or two too.
Thanks,
Josh

Re: Coachwhips and malpolon
Yeah the Malpolon are great, very similar to the coachwhips though one of the ones I have is fairly thick bodied.
As for getting coachwhips all I can say is to keep checking the classifieds, I have managed to get 5 westerns over here in the UK but am looking for easterns, fingers crossed I may be lucky at Hamm if the one US dealer remembers to bring some whips.

Re: Coachwhips and malpolon
Haha, You must be my good luck charm. 2 easterns that have been up for sale in the past, but I thought they were sold, are back up for sale, and I just reserved them. You can see them in the "other snakes" section of the kingsnake classifieds. Also, Glades Herp told me that they have some "red phase", texas, or western, whichever you call them, in the incubator, and that they should be hatching sometime this fall.
