So, I got my 1.1 corns two Sundays ago.

I fed them Monday, and the male(Mr. Gosh) ate. The female (Lenore) didn't. I assume it's having to do with settling in, okay.

Yesterday (Tues), it's feeding time again. Again, Mr. Gosh ate, but not Lenore.

Go figure. Out of 4 BPs and 2 corns, the only that won't eat is a corn.

Anyway, how long until I should be worried? She hasn't eaten since the Sunday before I got her. I know when to worry about BPs, but corns are so much smaller! I worry.

Is there a possibility that she'd eat if I put her in a cage by herself? is she stressed, maybe? I don't know . . .

it all depends on size. if it is a hatchling a month is probably fine, i ahve an adult king snake that went 4 motnhs without eating and my corn, 36 inches long went almost three months without eating. if she is not losing weight and is drinking i wouldnt worry about it to much. if you have them housed together seperate thema nd see if she eats then, somethimes a cage mate can stress them out, although i have never had problems with this as far as corns go, and man i have had corns all my life. i love them they are one of the prettiest out there, other than the suriname red tails....lol

just give it time she will eat when she is ready.

good luck

tis the season for colubrids (north american) to stop eating. But if one is eating and the other isn't and they have identical husbandry, then I smell stress.

Corns CAN be cannibilistic, so I might separate them regardless. Perhaps one is freaking the other out and taking the best hides and the warm spots, forcing the other to settle for less than optimal conditions, thus causing no desire to eat.

Split them up, give her a week and then try and feed her.
