yeah! try to catch one to remove it to clean a tank and just watch the fun! they are truly living ribbons, quite the thrashers! I got one who really is nuts, absolutley insane, gave up on taming him down the 6th time I had to scrub the rug where the musk landing and apparently I didn't get it cleaned up enough and one or both of the cats peed on it that night,
I love the little guy, but after he is gone, no more ribbons --- give me something that can squeeze me to death before another wild musker!

Re: Ribbon Snakes
nice pics!
Have you ever seen one that had a bright salmon-pink belly? I found one the other day but unfortunately only found it because I had run over it with my tractor and mortally wounded the poor thing. I had to end its life humanely at that point and didn't have the heart to lay it out for pics afterward.
so anyway, bright pink belly? is it shed, or just some natural variation?
