Re: Colubrid questions...
I have a Sinaloan Milksnake that I am crazy about! He is a terrific pet, loves being held, especially from me and other girls that come by the house. He is gentle creature and more active and zippier than boids.
I don't know any breeders, BW saw me drooling over him and gave him to me when he was downsizing his collection a few years back.
Good luck!

Re: Colubrid questions...
Colubrids make great pets in my opinion. Yes, they are way more active than boids but that's what I love about them.
As far as what kind of colubrid would be worth having as a pet, well that depends...
Do you prefer to get musked, bit, or both?

Re: Colubrid questions...
I took in a normal corn as a neo because my buddy bought one and his wife flipped out. Long story short, I raised and kept him. He's almost 3 years now and I just love him. Neat snake.

Re: Colubrid questions...
They are great pets, easy to care for and fairly active for the most part. Check out this site Shores Enuff Snakes -Milksnake, Kingsnake & Other Colubrid Morphs . I see you are in Dallas, Don Shores is the owner of shoresenuffsnakes.com and is in Fort Worth. He's a great guy to deal with and his animals are exceptionally clean.....I highly recommend him to anyone.

Re: Colubrid questions...
Yeah, that does kinda suck... You can call him and go to his house or see him at the Texas reptiles show in Arlington...the next one is this weekend. If you don't know about it I can give you the address.
