I can't see the pic (content filter at work) but im guessing its a TX rat..
there are TONS of tx rats out about now.
I've found nearly 30 of them this year already.
pretty common in all of DFW.

I doubt he is the meanest snake in the world, probably just the most frightened one in the world...after all he was taken from everything he knew and now is held there, he looks like he is a couple years old by size. Why not take him back where you got him and if you want one go to a show, these guys are a dime a dozen there...

I have a Tx rat snake myself. I'm unable to see the pic's but from the discription I'd say yes Tx rat. They are said to be the meanest snakes in Texas especially the in the wild but its more show than bite and the tail wagging when angry they do as well.
