Question about pits..
ive been researching pits a lot recently and was wondering why you people think they arent more popular? there seems to be plenty of morphs at reasonable prices ( compared to balls atleast ). is it b/c they really are that aggressive or is it b/c of their perseived aggression that many people just stray away from them or is it something else? i was just curious what your opinions were. i handled a large 7 ft northen pine today and altho it bit the crap out of me, i absolutely LOVED IT!!!

Re: Question about pits..
they aren't for everyone, just like lots of other snakes.
ball pythons and corn snakes can appeal to just about anyone, pituophis just haven't had their chance yet.
you just don't get "it" till you have a few.
They can be totally tame and easy to work with.

Re: Question about pits..
All of mine are like big puppies. Especially my 2 year old (August 10) female Bullsnake and my about the same age Pacific Gopher. I would trust anyone to hold them.

Re: Question about pits..
i love my bull snakes, my girl is fiesty and hissy and about as bad as me without caffeine until i get her out of her cage.
my boy is calm, really only lets me hold him.
and i want a black pine snake. they are the most beautiful of all the pituophis ssp

Re: Question about pits..
Yes...it actually is! I just hate when all of mine decide to crap all at once. Man, it's bad!
