New Addition
So I have this friend, Who was pet sitting a corn snake named Hollywood for a friend of hers. The woman left, and 6 years later, never came back.
My friend got very into having pet rats, and always smelling like rats, Hollywood would bite her when she went into his cage, so eventually she stopped taking hollywood out. She felt Hollywood diserved better, a home where he was showered with attention, and apreciated instead of being a chore.
So she dropped Hollywood at my house, to find him a new home. Right away we discovered the "he" was a "she" and she is so adoreable and cute, I think i might just have to keep her. Ive never had a corn snake before, and she eats f/t, so there is no shortage of food around here.
Yea, so. now I have a cornsnake, haha. I dont know anything about them, but my boyfriend is well versed in their care. um... I have an old 40 gallon, will that work for her? Id love if people posted a few pictures of their set ups.
Depending on what kind of temperatures/humidity they require. Id love to do a set up with some live plants, because shes not going to get really huge.
Here are some pic. I think shes just a normal, but like I said, I really dont know much about them, beyond they have a bazillion morphs, and are relatively easy.

Congrats! You're gonna love this snake!
A 40 gal is a huge tank for her. A 20 or 30 long tank will do but if the 40 is all you have, then that's ok too. My corns love to climb on wood with fake plants on the branches to hide in. They love to burrow in Aspen bedding. Hollywood will make tunnels all over the place! And when she goes to the bathroom, you just pick it out of there and some of the surrounding bedding and you don't mess up her whole maze of tunnels. lol And she's probably as big as she's gonna get. She's gorgeous too!!
