Contacted the local petshop and told them to put a blue beauty on order for me. Also told them to put a Texas Indigo on order as well.
|
I was under the impression that texas indigos, or eastern's either for that matter were pretty expensive, way over $200. I'm curious, how much is it going to run you from this guy?

I've already placed orders for a 55L for the beauty and Indigo...It will be interesting.
|
Also, are you planning on keeping these 2 snakes together? If so, expect to have only one sometime soon. And one more thing, An indigo will need around an 8 foot enclosure eventually, that 55 wont hold it for long, and I think you said that was about as large as an enclosure as you could handle.
Just wondering if you knew these things already.

Yes, of course. Seperate tanks for each snake. I wouldn't dream of housing them together.
I did some re-arranging and am in the process of building a shelving unit for them so I can fit my space constraints. I figure by the time the Texas needs more room, I will have a home of my own and not the apartment I am in now.
As for the price, I haven't been given a final price. Just a ballpark of ~$750 for the pair. I will stick with just the blue beauty if the total cost (before the snakes are shipped) would be over $800. Not a huge concern if I can't pick up the texas indigo right now.
