That is a really nice kingsnake. I like the appearance of the california banded kingsnakes the most. Is that the average size for an adult? We have a yearling and I was wondering how large it will grow.

Also, do they mellow as they get older? Ours, chomper, has a mean streak. It seduces the kids with its good looks and then tries to eat their little fingers. Me and my boys play snake roulette by holding it for 60 seconds each and then passing it to the next person. If you get bit, you are out.
