Cool, there are some problems that can be caused when feeding while in blue such as bad sheds

I've fed some of my snakes while in blue before and I haven't had any problems... I fed my male boa this past week and he was in blue.. still had a perfect shed. I also fed my watersnake this weekend while in blue and no bad shed there either... but I guess it depends.

I dont know for certain, but it could depend on how long they have been in blue..Like a day or so, I doubt they have a problem..But when mine are clearing up the skin will break around the neck, and that part wont shed right..At least that was what happend to mine..

I have never in my 14 years of keeping snakes have i had a prob feeding in shed, mind you i have never feed them late into shed cycle she had just entered blue. Plus if it was really a prob she would probably refuse to eat, I have also seen wild snkaes in blue who have just fed.

Thanks amercnwmn she is only 36 to 40 inches long so I'm sure yours can eat a rat you just have to find a small enough one I was a little worried though because as you can see she started to eat the rat sideways lol silly snake they go down easier the other way!

Ya, I have heard it can lead to bad sheds. I never try it so I'm not sure.
