I got in trouble again Sunday....
Well I got my butt chewed Sunday for coming home with another snake (I promised my girlfriend I wouldn't buy anymore!). Here she is......Lizzy the Cal King.

 Nice King Snake! I see you have a Dum, how old is it? Would you post a pic of your Dum? I have a Dum. I took her to the vet yesterday and found out that my boy is a girl. She is in great health. What type of substrate do you use for your Dum? Thanks.

Very pretty king snake..I love those..I think I love all snakes..But I think those are on my list of striking looking colorations/patterns.
Kick the girlfriend, keep the snake..LOL
How can anyone get mad at that snake..Not like you brought home a retic or a burm...or something that rattles!  |

just get a girlfriend who loves snakes too... hehe I got my cali for my anniversary last year and I was perfectly happy with that... (until said cali turned evil jerk snake from hades...) |

Both of them are gonna stay....LOL. I had 7 at one point and I told her that if I got rid of some, I wouldn't buy more to replace them....she only griped for 5-10 minutes and she was over it. She likes snakes, we just don't really have in more room in our 1 bedroom Apt. Yes that is a heat rock.......on a dimmer! It's slightly warmer than my hand. The whole setup is temporary till next month. She is a little flighty when you first get her out and she has a feeding frenzy streak in her...she latched on to me after I fed her.

As long as the heat rock is on a low low setting it should be ok. Very nice snake. I love cali kings but I haven't found a stripped one yet that I had a chance to get
