How important is the brumation/hibernation period for corn snakes?
I was wondering because i was kind of unaware of it until recently

i didnt do it until i started breeding mine...just took em out of brumation! boy do they eat right out of brumation....JJmetro is right tho, it isnt needed. It seems they grow more when you do it though. maybe its just me.

I dont usually even bother brumating them to breed.
I've done it with corns, milksnakes, kingsnakes, a dozen different type of ratsnakes (except japanese), and a few python/boa species.
