How much does a leucistic snake normally cost? The only leucistic snake I have ever seen for sale was a Texas Rat Snake at my petstore for $65. Is that about the right price? Anyone know how much I would pay for a leucistic Ball Python?

Leucism isn't real common, so usually it commands high prices. Like I the need for mortgaging one's house to afford a leucy ball python. I got my leucy tx rat for $40, but they're pretty commonly bred now. When they first showed up they were fairly expensive, but the ease of breeding and lack of real market for TX rat snakes drove their price down pretty fast - not to mention the bug-eyed problem with them.
