First lets make the corrections on the male right now, to my knowledge pine is a harmful substrate due to the oils found on the pine. Change that to a more suitable substrate like aspen or paper towels.

get him out of the rubbermaid as well-into a real cage for the little guy-not big enough for a 5' snake, let alone 2...

bigger cage??
by rubbermaid i meant the size you find in snake racks, but a bit bigger, trust me he has lot's of room, and the pine is aspen pine, so those corrections don't need to be made, but what should i do to have make them breed?? i need exact details...thanks!! and thanks for those 2 suggestions too!

You need to make sure they are both fat enough to hibernate. Once they are DO NOT feed them for 2-3 weeks, but give plenty of water. This cleans their systems out and makes sure there is no food to rot in their tummies. Then, take their heat source away. Let them get used to room temp. for 4-7 days. Then slowly-(over a week or two) drop their ambient temps to 55-65 degrees and it needs to be dark, so put a blanket over thier cages if you must but it needs to be cool and dark. I usually let mine stay for about 2 months with occasional-(every week or so) checks on water. DO NOT FEED HIBERNATING SNAKES!!!
Then slowly-(over 2 weeks) bring their temps back up to room temp and then add the heat source. Feed them 2 or 3 times and make sure they are both healthy. Then put the male in the female's cage and you should see him start doing his thing right away. This is how I breed my corns and western hogs.
There are plenty of books out there that cover this in alot more detail. I would recommend getting one of these.
