This is my FIRST time posting on RTB. Ive read it a lot but always felt it was best I did'nt reply to anything.
My name is Kolleen and I guess Im lookin for a few "snake" friends. I really dont know anyone who enjoys snakes as much as I do so I figured here would be a good place to start. I am mostly a hobbiest and a small time breeder. My collection consists of almost 40 snakes and growing and the breeding is strictly for the enjoyment of reproducing snakes in captivity...not $$$money
I guess I'll tell ya all whats in my collection...But warning!!! It may take a while...but Ill make with out the detail....
13 burms + 29 eggs
10 Balls + 7 eggs and more to come
2 bloods
2 savus
2 GTP's
2 Sinaloan Milks
2 Cornsnakes
2 RTB
1 retic
2 striped AfRocks
1 Kingsnake
2 garter snakes
2 doggies
2 kitties
2 horses
1 emperor scorp and 8 babies
1 fishy
I am also a Vet. Tech so I get the pleasure of dealing with animals always. All the above animals are my PETS and it just so happens some of my pets like to breed...lol
Well, thats about it. Im a pretty simple person whom usually doesnt tell about stuff like my collection but I guess its who I am!?!?
Anyway, I look forward to chatting with some of you in the future(I hope) and if anyone lives in good 'ol utah, drop me a line.
Thanks!
Kolleen

I tech at Willow Creek Pet Center in Sandy, Utah. Ive been here for 3.6 years and love every minuite of it. I actually work graveyards and deal strictly with emergencies and ICU patients.

it is nice to have a vet tech on board. Does the vet hat you work for see reptiles also. I will be nice to hear your input on some of the health related ???? we get here. I like your collection. you must have one #$%^$%^$%^$%^& of a snakes room to house 13 burms. How old are they all? and welcome to rtb.

Yeah, as do I. Except that I don't work at an EVC vet tech capacity. I'm a shelter tech, so the differences vary, as i'm sure you understand.
That's alot of snakes. Seems that i must need to move to utah(not likely). If you can tech at a clinic and afford to keep all those snakes you must either be mad, or independently wealthy.
I've got:
2.1 BP's
2.2 BCI's
1.1 ATB's
0.2 BRB's
3.1 Corn's
1.1 Leo's
0.2 S/F ASH
0.1 S/F Chowbordersheltie-X
0.2 HS's F1

Right on Alex...I feel there are never enough techs in the world. Its hard work, and you have to know a lot, and almost every day is a new experience. You just gotta love it though!!! And as for making a lot of money...yeah!! I wish...Im just "Mad", but what can I say, I love reptiles
Relayer, most people have a serious "complex" after leaving my house. But the good thing is..there were a lot of people who USED to be terrified of snakes until I stepped in and gave them a little education. Usually once they see for them selves thas most snakes aren't so bad, they seem to become a little less affraid.

You must take the title of having the most snakes on this site and your home must be huge. I wish I could fit just one burmese in my house...but alas....I would have to sell the kids

Wow, I'll never quite that many I don't think. I do eventually want to buy a shed that will have electrical capabilities and start my collection in that for my bigger ones....that's amazing. i'm assuming that since you got 9 more these are more given to you rather than bought huh? You seem like cool peoples, welcome to rtb.net....lori, you sounded jealous for a sec there hun!

Well, here is a link to my photo album. I dont have all my snakes in this album, but I had a professionla photographer come over a few days ago and take pics. They should be up in a few weeks. Until then, here they are.
http://www.printroom.com/EditAlbum.a...5&curpage=
And yes, I have a big house, but am buying a bigger one in 1 year. I have 50% of my house filled with my snakes and am running out of room for me...lol
Pics of every one coming soon...
P.S.
Thanks everyone!!! You all make me feel great!
