Another hello from across the pond
Hi all,
I thought I should say hello at last, after lurking for so long. I'm David from the UK, and only got back into keeping snakes this year after a nearly ten year break.
I've decided to try and slowly build up a collection of Bcc, but it's not as easy as I thought. Finding quality snakes in the UK with a proven origin to a specific locale is quite a challenge.
I must thank Gus Rentfro at Rio Bravo Reptiles for helping me. Although he doesn't export his animals, he did point me in the direction of some reputable breeders in the USA and europe that have allowed me to get on a few waiting lists, so this year should be a good year for me.
May I just say that this is a great site, and I have spent many hours admiring the various members animals.
Thanks for reading.
David

Of course you may. I've already managed to get a young pair of north brazilians, and I've paid for a nice pair of Iquitos peruvians from Hermann Stoeckl in Germany. Unfortunately I won't be seeing them until later this year, as I'm waiting to see if Hermann manages to produce any Pokigron suris. It's a 2000 mile drive there and back, so I'm only going once if I can help it!
After that, who knows. I'm in no rush, I'll wait until the right animal appears.
Thanks for asking.

Re: Another hello from across the pond

Colombian Bcc, now that would be something. I've never even seen one.
