Yep. I am looking forward to getting a Columbian BCI. I have questions though. I thought Columbians were a BCI but when I went to the expo and looked most the Columbians were redtails some were just called Columbians. Now I am confused. I thought Columbians redtails didn't exist. I also thought boas that were not called redtails were BCI's and the ones that were called redtails were BCC's.

Well, there's a bit of truth to every statement you made, but all the facts are put together wrong. Technically, Colombians are commonly known as BCI (although there are arguments for that, as well), so the expo guys weren't making an INaccurate statement because BCC are referred to as "True redtails". However, you are correct to say that you have a redtail boa just because it's pretty much accepted as common language.
I probably didn't break that down very well, but I'm sure someone can follow with more detail that I've provided. Great question.

First off welcome to the site...if a boa has a redtail it is a redtail but a true redtail is a bcc...if it is labeled colombian it is a bci...most colombians are bci but there are very few true colombian bcc
