Hello.
Just 'checkin' in...Great site!
Been interested in snakes since I was a kid. Have had boas and numerous other snakes since before I was married and still do.
My wife of 34 years and I are in our middle 50's with 2 cats, a Jack Russell Terrier and our only boa "Daisy". She's 5 years old and 8 foot plus. "Daisy" is the boa looking at ya' at the end of my posts. She's a doll...
We had another boa "Sheba" for 22 years, but she died last year. We bought her for my son when he was 10-11 years old and ended up keeping her as his wife of 13 years can't stand snakes. "Sheba" never hissed, struck out or bit anyone in all those years. She reached 10 feet and was close to 50 lbs, but was a very gentle snake. Miss her...

It's nice to meet you and Daisy. She's real purty! Looking forward to seeing more pics of her.

Welcome! glad to have ya!
Hehe, When I was 13-14 my parents got me a boa also, when I left home they tried to keep it as well. 8 years later, and on the otherside of the country I still have Zeus, my first BCI. -Juggalo

Welcome aboard!!!
I see from your other post you are right near my new area. I will be moving to the Lost Nation/Oxford Jct area, maybe. I'm also contimplating a little further north in Dobuque(sp?), things are looking pretty good there for a job at the airport. Be in that area around the 1st of Oct. We'll have to get together. I may know someone already in that area that would may be willing to build you a cage. I have a pushing 9' RTB and she is in an 8' Custom cage that I built. total cost of materials was about $100, so you may want to explore that route.

Thanks for the 'Welcome', guys and gals! I've been spending a lot of hours going through RTB (most of the forums) the last few days and have even seen some amazing pics. I'm always willing to learn and I said it before, but this is a great site!
