Hi All, New to site
Hi all, I'm new to the site and have really enjoyed looking around at all the great stuff in here, so much knowledge and love of snakes and reptiles being shared! Currently I have one albino burmese, just a young guy, not quite 2 years old yet and a ball python. We also keep some brackish fish, i.e. spotted puffers and violet goby's as well as a wild caught painted turtle. I have 3 children of my own and a step-son all of whom are crazy about our pets. I'm sure I might get some heck for keeping a burm with 4 children, so I want everyone to know that the safety of my children is paramount. They are NEVER allowed to handle either of our snakes without supervision and our reptile cages are securely locked. We've raised our snakes since they were hatchlings with lots of gentle (supervised) handling. It's important to me to teach my kids and share my love of reptiles with them. Who else but our children are going to be advocates for the conservation of threatened and endangered snake species. I'm so glad there is a site like this for myself to learn more and especially glad that I can allow my children to come here and learn without fear of inappropriate content, so thanks so much for that. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning from you and sharing my own experiences and knowledge!! See you all
