Talking Hello all, I'm from the OTHER place....
hello everyone, i'm officially moving from the OTHER site (www.reptileforums.com ) due to the fact that everyone over there seems to not want to reply to anything i say I've been lurking and everyone here seems pretty knowledgable and friendly, so i'm hoping i'll have better luck here. A little background on me: My name is Trixie (yes my real name!) i'm 20, from houston, tx-soon to be port barre, LA. Currently i work as a reptile specialist at Petco (NOT one of the ones you've heard horror stories about ) and have been there about a year and a half. My job is what actually got me started in reptiles since prior to that i hadn't really had much contact with them. I am just getting started on my reptile collection (they really are addictive!) as you can see. Anyway i'm sure you will see me around, posting here and there, and asking some questions, so i will hopefully see you around, too!

I wouldn't be surprised if the reason you've been ignored was because you work at PetCo. Whether it's one of the good stores or not, I've found it's a really sensitive topic and the people who won't rip you apart for it would rather ignore you. I should know, because back in the day I worked at a PetsMart (avian specialist). I learned really quick that it's not the kind of thing I should advertise on forums like this if I wanted to be respected.

Just some advice from someone who's been there. Either way, welcome aboard!
