Re: Tree Python

what kind of snakes do you have now? Green tree's are not as difficult as emerald tree boas, but they are still considered a tough snake to care for. They need ahigh humidity, at work we kept the green tree's at about 75%-80% humidity, we had a basking temp of 90, and the rest of the tank was usually kept at 80. They really arent that tough IMO, they need a taller cage for sure. unlike emeralds, the green tree pythons do come down to the ground every once in awhile, so I would use Eco earth for them, it holds humidity well, and it isnt water.

Re: Tree Python

ok, the green tree would be no walk in the park compared to the redtail, they have really touchy needs. Often I hear people saying they want a GTP or an emerald, and I would always recommend the GTP over the emerald
