Problem with a chameleon

Hi All, A friend of mine just bought a new chameleon after an absolute horror story with her last one. This guy is about 1 year old and seems quite healthy but we have noticed a white, sort of sticky substance coming from one nostril. Its going to be a few days before it gets to a vet so I was wondering if any cham keepers here could help. I don't have any issue with the guy who sold the cham to my friend as I know him well and he is definitely a good guy. His enclosure is fine, all the temps and humidity are fine.
Any idea's? Could stress from the move cause this as he was only bought 2 days ago.
