Would this stress out my cham?
A friend of mine has hit some hard times and has asked me to take for her male veiled chameleon until she can get on her feet. Of course I agreed. My question is: Will keeping my friend's male cham in the same room as my male cham stress them out? Their habitats will be set up on adjacent walls (but not next to each other) and I doubt they'd really be able to see each other. I don't want to stress my friend's cham out any more than he will be with the move from her place to mine and I definitely don't want to stress out mine. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Would this stress out my cham?
as long as they cant see each other, they will be fine. if they see each other, they will just be obsessed with displaying to each other, trying to scare the other away from "his" territory, and it can stress them out. i have my cham cages all lined up next to each other, but with visual dividers in between all the cages

Re: Would this stress out my cham?
Yeah Oscar's my year old veiled. Turns out I won't be taking in my friend's cham... I was getting excited about it too! Her cham is a lot more easily handled than mine.

Re: Would this stress out my cham?
She's going to crash with her folks for a while and they relented and said it was okay for her to bring her cham along.

Re: Would this stress out my cham?
Yea just throw a piece of poster board right in between their cages, that way you can keep them right next to each other stress free, making it easier for you...and if you have a really long fluorescent, you could even lay it right over both their tanks (provided they are the same height), that worked great for a panther pair that used to live here
