Pictures of Chameleons Cage
Well I am picking up a pair of Chameleons tomarrow. I spent the day picking up stuff to put this together. There is 6" of soil in it and all the plants are real. I mounted a garden light inside on the top 1/3 of the top is screen for the UVB Bulb. The front is screen. There is a digital T-stat mounted outside the cage with the probe inside. I mounted lock up hinges on the door so it locks up when it is open. I hope it is good enough.

Veiled Chameleons. I think he said Blue Nose or Blue something. They have been at the shop waiting for me to build thier cage. I have to change out the soil first it is the wrong kind.

what do mean wrong type of soil. if you want to keep it vivarium style for chameleon lay some mulch over the soil so the chameleon won't ingest the soil when feeding. i use old mini critter cages to feed mine in. it would also be good if you can get the outside for some natural sunlight. i like the cage but i think it would make a better pygmy chameleon cage instead of a veiled cage. just my opinion. how big are they. here is m baby that hatched in may

I know very little about chameleons. It appears as if you're going to house these new additions just above another animal. Is the distance between your new enclosure and current collection sufficient for quarantine?
Your new enclosure looks nice.

That looks nice..! It might need some more plants later for it to be real lush but we'll see how it goes. I use fake plants for my male veiled only cause he can't eat them... and he tends to trash real plants anyway; he's a big boy. The few times that I've let him roam my herp room he's taken chomps out of my aloe, pothos and spider plants.. lol They will eat some vegetable matter... so it's also important that the plants you provide them are safe for them incase they decide to munch on them.
By the way, they have a place to bask for heat don't they? They need a basking spot in the 90s. Also just FYI, here's some info about chameleons and UVB: Welcome To ReptileUV - Mega-Ray® UVB lamps for reptile lighting worldwide

They have a basking spot I had the light off when I took the picture. This is a temp cage. I am building a bigger one as we speak. The soil I used had fertalizer and foam balls in it. I took it out and put an Organic soil in it. All the plants I used are non-toxic I spend a total of like 4 and a half hours on the net researching plants and Chameleon care.

wat do u think. personaly i would say remove the soil cuz there is a high change of ingestion. and u will need a good drainage system because these pets need alot of water.
