Need help with Jackson's
I keep having my pregnant females die. What am I doing wrong? This time she was in a large cage, eating well until yesterday. This morning she would keep her mouth open which was strange. I found her passed away when I returned from work. This is the second female to do this. She was misted twice a day, had a drip set up, and had temp around 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
I did a "C-section" on her after her death and she had 20 little babies which appeared to be fully formed. They slipped out of the uterus and were enclosed in a clear sac with a small yolk sac.
I have another female that has been paired with my male and I don't want her (or him to pass on) what do I need to be doing?
Please help.

My Jackson's
The enclosure is in my dining room near a window. It is a 12WX 24Hx30L. It is a glass enclosure with the two ends screened as well as the top. I have a herp lamp on top. The temp stays between 75 and 80. I put a lot of silk plants like pothos and plastic philodendron with a water fountain as well as a drip every day. I misted her 2X- once in morning and once in evening. She had a good appetite until 24 hours before her death. I did notice a cricket on her the morning of her death and swept it away and she moved. When I came home in the evening there was another cricket on her and that's when she had apparently died. I've had her since July 14th. I brought her and a pair back from HI. She was in her own enclosure. Here are some pictures of her enclosure and what she looked like along with my male. I did not hold her at all because I didn't want to stress her. When I did her autopsy I saw that the babies looked completely developed- there were 20 of them. Everything looked clean inside. She had no wounds on her and she had been active until the 24 hours before. Could it have been close to delivery and I put too many crickets which were uneaten and stressed her? Plus, the bedding was pretty wet, does it need to be dry for them to have their babies? Does she need a special enclosure or hiding place to have her babies? I did notice she would go to the bottom of her enclosure during the day and try to go through the glass as if she was trying to get away. This was always when I turned on the light before I left for work everyday. Any suggestions? I don't want to lose my others. IMGA0556.JPG

i would suggest getting an all screen and if possilbe open a window to allow uv to come in the glass might be getting to hot for them during the day or the traffic outside if any might be stress full on it also i keep mine on a screen porch in screen cages in a low traffic area just me walking through there. if you want to increase humidty add a small live tree in there for them or move them out of the window. she could have died from parasites get a fecal test done on them. if you like to do stuff yourself get a microscope with blank slides and when you see fresh dropping place a little bit on the slide and a drop of water mix it together and then place it under the lens and look for any movement if you see any take it to the vet for medications

Thanks for the suggestions. I did a couple of things yesterday such as moved them away from the window and seperated the other male and female. I checked the temp by the lights and it was only getting to 75 so I added a 60 Watt light where they can get to an 85 deg spot. I'll check for the parasites. Thanks for the help.
