Plants for viv ?
Hi all I'm a newbie to cham keeping so have an abundance of questions for you! I have got a yemen cham so the petshop owner thinks it is! It's not a young un body is about 8-9" long not including tail, he came with a complete set up i.e viv, heat pad, basking lamp and repti glo 5.0uvb lite. I would like to put some real plants in and wondering which were the best for him? also would like to get him a bigger climbing branch is there any varieties of tree that are unsuitable for him. Regarding the plants if I get them from a garden center should I wash the leaves or change the soil to avoid any poisonous insectacides they may have used on the plant ? I live in uk if it makes any difference !
Thanks all will have many more questions for you I'm sure !

always wash your plants down first the soil will be fine beside if you cover the soil it will just be a hassle watering them. put a feeding dish in the cage for him that way the food is all in one spot and you can make sure he is eating
