is it a parson chameleon. if so the reason they are not breed in captivity as much as other because it take 2 years to hatch eggs

From what I read they breed about every two years, Incubation is over a year and there life span is around 7 years in the wild, Fort Worth Zoo has the record of like 4 years in captivity which means you would be lucky to get one clutch per pairing.

of what species? they havent had parsons that long, at least not the one pictured.
