would it be right for me?
ok, ive been thinking about getting a cham for a long long time...i was going to get one when i was pretty young, but was directed againts it becuase i would be able to take care of it. Now im 15, and have had a few different pets, like frogs and stuff, and i thought now would be a good time to get a cham...I have the money, i worked all summer so thats no issue, but im not sure if id be better off with something like a bearded dragon, i would like to handle it every once and a while, maby a couple times a week. probably not much more. I know id be able to take care ofa bearded dragon, becuse ive had a few frends that have had them and ive seen what you have to do. but mostly all id wana do that i think might stress the cham is bring it over to my desk and watch it climb on some branches and stuff. Ive read up on them alot but i figured the best people to ask are poeople who have had them, so anything g have that could help would be apreciated, thanks.

start with a lizard that is easier to take care of. Chameleons need lots of air and lots of humid which makes them kind of hard to take care of

as said start with some easier to keep lizards before attempting chameleons as they need quite specialised care needs and its really best you check out a few books and maybe consider it in future.
crested geckoes are good for handling and they climb all over the place and are very simple to keep and a few adults would fit in a set up you were considering for a chameleon
