Jackson's chams really arent' for a beginner. Actually, none of them are easy to care for. The veileds may be your best bet, but you will need to do alot of research first. They stress easily, and refuse to eat. They also have very specific husbandry requirements.

I am not a much of a chamelion person my self, but I heard alot of failure when it comes to Jacksons. HerpChick is right, they can be very hard to maintain in even the error proof enclosure.

maybe its just me, but I have found jacksons very easy, yet I've always had bad luck with veiled.
I've kept and even had jacksons reproduce for me under a normal room temp planted tank, and full spectrum lighting, no handling, and daily misting.
I had one pair for several years, and the female even had two litters in those years.
I kept em in a 60gal cube glass tank (female) and a 30gal cube for the male , they did really well.
