Misting Machine
I kno Chameleons need an automatic misting machine, but if I use a cage would it work, it seems that they only work in tanks. If anyone knos a good misting machine for a cage can you link me? And I also wanted to kno if a misting machine replaces a dripper?

For chams I would get this:
http://www.pro-products.com/promistproducts.html
don;t cut corners and get a cheap version ---I did and forgtaboutit---you don't want to know.
For a small cage (tank) the habba mist is good....but for a cham cage go with this system and add to it as you need to.
Here's a good page for cham humidity:

I made a humidifier last night that seems to work great! I bought a ultrasonic fogger(the bigger version of the two I found). I put it in a covered tub with vents on all sides & bolted it to the top of the cage. It has supplied my enclosure with a constant 50% humidity. Of course this is set up on a humidistat... it is capable of providing a much higher level of humidity if need be.
If set up right, the fog drifting down from the top of the enclosure looks really cool & you don't have the abnoxious noise of a misting machine.

no you will need a dripper.....they need water movement in order to drink. The mister will just keep your enclosure moist and humid.

ditto, you can alway buy a a waterfall, read up at chameleoncondo.net, but this is pretty and also acts as a humidifyer and the running water gets the attention of the chameleon to drink

Just be careful with waterfalls, they have a tendency to build up bacteria if not kept *very* clean, and most of them are hard to clean very thoroughly.
