i got my cages put together today all that is left is sanding and polyurethane
all the corners were pretty tight and the few gaps that i had were filled with wood filler

my question is : do i need to use silicon or any other type of sealer?

i'm going to do at least three coat of minwax polyurethane on the inside of each cage
i was thinking the polyurethane will seal it but i want to see what some people who already built enclosures thought

To seal the cracks and the corners, you could use Silicone. When speaking of Silicone, make sure you only get the aquarium type and let it cure before putting in your reptile. For the inside, I would go with Polycrylic.
