Hey guys
I have a baby rtb, just got her last friday and she is in a 40 gal. long aqu. Now I know this is big and for a hide i have a huge half pipe piece of wood I bought at the reptile store..big enough to hold a yearling. Can i put other hides in here? Can I use plants and whatnot so it looks kind of natuarisqe and not so baron with just the hide, water bowl and a climbing limb?
Im a newbie so any help is great..thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but yes, for a baby snake in a large cage, the more hides the better. And by all means, be creative...

I think he means the "plants and whatnot" look natural-ish, or have a natural-looking quality to it. Like Rev said, the more hides, the better. You can add plants and vines if you want. That will provide places to climb and hide. Just don't expect it to do much good in holding up a yearling.

C'mon guys, can't get on him for a little typo. Naturesque was the word he was goin for there and Bry was right, just talking bout making it look more like nature, a nice natural looking setting.
I found good looking fake plants and vines at my local dollar store, so thats another option for ya bro.

Actually, I don't see where anyone got on his case for a little typo. We were just wondering what he was trying to say. I had guessed he was trying to say 'naturesque' or something like it.

Welcome to RH Azsnkman! All this is good advice. Hope your baby does great for you.
That's alright Bry...Our SoPure is just a little sensitive since he has been teased some. Your both right though...we shouldn't and wern't. Sometimes msgs come across a little different than we intend them.
I upset people at work all the time with my e-mails and really don't mean anything by them. I try to live by the rule that if I wonder if they were being nasty, they probably didn't mean it that way. People have a way of letting you know they mean business.
