It's time to spoil my babies!
Just got back in to being a keeper back in October of 09. I took a long break while i was in the Army, traveling afterwards etc. So now that i've been settled in for a while I started doing tons of reading on this forum and a few others (this one is my favorite)
So anyways my snakes are fairly young right now. They are all in glass tanks, i managed to get cheap I've been looking around for almost 2 months at enclosures and doing as much research as I could on the topic.
All enclosures are being made by Monster-Cages.
Enclosure #1
6' x 2' x 2' - This is going to my newest and by far the youngest of my snakes. An absolutely gorgeous female, silver guyana rtb. She has a gorgeous pink shade around her eyes and anywhere else that's usually white, beautiful red rail. I can't get over how amazing she is, i'll have to post pics. She's roughly 3-4 months old so she will be completely spoiled in this enclosure.
Enclosure #2
4' x 2' x 2' - The 2nd youngest, Female Brazilian Rainbow Boa. Another beauty and she is 6 months old, slightly smaller then the guyana.
Enclosure #3
4' x 2' x 2' - This one for some odd reason is a lot of peoples favorite. It's a 50/50 California King. Pretty neat looking, half black and half white. i call him spaz because he is fast and he will dart out of his rock on one end and move extremely fast around the tank and in to the rock on the other side.. sometimes doing laps... makes absolutely no sense to me.
Enclosure #4
4' x 2' x 2' - This one is going to the gf's snakes. She has a male and female Ball python. They are both adults and the female may actually be gravid.... They are kept together in the same tank because the gf insists they are in love with each other.. it's just isn't worth arguing about lol.
Heating & Thermostats:
11" Flexwatt
Ranco T-stat, already have 4 of them.
Comments, questions etc are all welcome. I love to hear what others have to say.

Re: It's time to spoil my babies!
welcome to the site! also pics of the kids would be epic, we love pictures.
congrats on new enclosures, i love new things, they rule. about the 6'x2'x2" enclosure for the little boa, in my opinion its a bit of overkill. there's no need for anything remotely so large for such a small snake. even as a yearling, id still think its overkill. i give my kids just enough room, not too much and not too little. not trying to forcefeed my ethics just wanted to throw in my .02 since ya asked for em anyway! i hope everythiing work out for you in the end, good luck!

Re: It's time to spoil my babies!
Pictures will be coming very soon. Just waiting on a better camera than my cell.
As for the over kill on the 6', I'm buying for the snake to grow in to it. no point in buying multiple enclosures as she grows. Although if i got all 4' cages i could always get the 6' in a couple years them have an excuse to get something else lol

while those tanks will work for the life of the snakes listed, they may be too big for the smaller snakes, so make sure to buisy up the place with a lot of deco, multiple hides, and multiple water dishes. large open spaces for such a young snake can make them nervous and jumpy.

Re: It's time to spoil my babies!
Already took care of the hides and water bowls. reptile supply has amazing prices on the exo terra caves. $3.86 for the mediums so i got a few of them since all of my snakes are still small.
I need to work on all the other decor though. I'd like to have bushes, branches etc but i don't even know where to start. I'd rather not pay $40 for a pre made jungle gym at the pet store.
