Flexwatt question

Is it safe/ok to to sandwich flexwatt between two enclosures if the enclosures don't provide a gap for air? Looking at getting a few enclosures made from polypro so I'm deciding on flexwatt or radiant heat.

Re: Flexwatt question

I found this PDF from beanfarm which states

The key is to let the heat dissipate and to not be trapped.

Re: Flexwatt question

i use flexxwatt ive never tried it sandwiched up with no air flow (not recommended by manufacturer or any of the providers, same as uth like heat matts etc). i leave a little room for it to breathe, works great.
