are there any good books out there to help you build good snake cages?
i'd like to build a multi unit tower with 3 or 4 enclosures
i have 3 boas but i'd like to have a fourth enclosure just in case
building the cages looks like it should be no prob;em, i am really worried about the lighting, heating, and venting

also, what do you think about these dimensions for boas?

54" long X 24" deep X 15" high

does anyone on the site build and seel them?

There are several people on here who build and sell them... Like Jeff Ronne the Boaphile and Tom McCarthy.

I am not aware of any books specifically about snake cages, but if you are pretty skilled with a skill saw, it shouldn't be too bad. From my personal research on this matter, I have believe black melemine to be the best material to build cages out of.

Boas do not need special lighting. I would make the door on the front big enough that the room light can filter through and light the cages. heating is a little more tricky, but just enough heat tape should solve that problem. I would go with the 11" variety of heat tape and a helix thermostat.

Let us know anything else you need help with.
