Re: New enclosure I started tonight!!!

Oh ok. With this one I am planning on making two cabinet style doors that open from the middle and swing out. Not sure how easily that can be done though. If I cant do that then my only other option is sliding doors on a track. But Tom told me the glass is gonna be like 200 per sheet. Yikes. May take me longer to finish than I thaught. X-mas has depleted all the fundage. But thats ok my son comes first obviously and they have suitable enclosures now. This was more of a project and will be a luxury condo once it is finally done.

Re: New enclosure I started tonight!!!

Very nice cage so far. Don't use regular glass you are just asking for trouble if you do and someone and your pets could get hurt. You should always use tempered glass for doors. Tempered glass will brake if the edges are hit hard but they brake in to small pieces that are not sharp for the most part where regular glass will splinter and have very sharp edges. I can punch the tempered glass on my cages and they will not brake where with regular glass my hand would go right thought it.

Take care
Tom
