Big Apple Desert Rays Radiant Heat Panels
Has anyone used this?? Reptile Cage Radiant Heat Panels for Less
I'm looking at building a 7ft x 3ft x 18" enclosure for my 5.5ft Dumeril Boa and trying to decide between a radiant heat panel & a Kane heat mat.
The Dum is in a 75G tank at the moment. The standard "length + width = max snake length" rule says this tank is getting too small for her. I want to stack the 7ft x 3ft on top of one of my existing Tegu enclosures. |

I've been reading about the Reptile Basics REP's also. They are very impressive!
The biggest Desert Rays REP is only 23" x 11" & 54 watts. I don't think it would be big enough for the enclosure I am planning on building.
The Reptile Basics panel sounds like the way to go.

Whoa... I thought it was length x width = snake rule. 1 sq ft. per foot of snake. Don't get me wrong, bigger is usually better and if you got the room for it more power to ya. |
