Hey i know ya'll recommend boaphile cages and i have looked into them quite a bit and will probably buy one, but i ran across these vision cages today and wanted some input as to your expert opinions of them, or anyone who has used one before. Basically i have found them to be less expensive than the boaphile ones and want to see what yall think.

We have a couple of Visions here among the Boaphiles and tubs. You can't stack anything on top of the Visions, they buckle. Call me biased, but I like the look and efficiency of Boaphiles better (can't wait for mine to get here!!)

There are several reasons why I like Boaphiles better... here's the short list:
The price on boaphile cages includes shipping. Vision does not.
Boaphile cages are easier to clean because it has a flat floor. Vision cages have rased ridges in the floor of the cage that makes cleaning and placing substrate to be a chore.
The hinged door on boaphile cages opens all the way up and provides better access to the inside of the cage. The sliding glass doors on the visions only open half way.
There is virtually no chance of the boaphile doors ever binding up because of Jeff Ronne's revolutionary cage design. The vision doors get hard to open after a while.
Boaphile cages are available in a wide variety of colors including Black. I firmly believe that being in a darker space is better of the psycological wellbeing of most snakes because they feel more secure. Visions are only available in grey.
Boaphile cages hold humidity really well because they provide just the right amount of ventalation. Visions don't hold humidity as well because they are ventalation factorys. My vision cages have two HUGE vents in the back that suck the cage dry.
And last, but not least, Jeff Ronne is a really nice guy.

We have visions as well as boaphiles and really don't like the visions. They're heavy glass makes it almost impossible to take the glass out of a lower cage in a rack. The grooves in the bottom makes it so paper doesn't sit right. They have a lip around the door that snakes like to get up on and wedge themselves into. They don't hold humidity very well. As far as price goes when you figure in shipping you'll more than make up the difference. We like the boaphiles so much that we just ordered another rack from Jeff today. We will soon be replacing all our visions with boaphiles.
Morti leave it to you and me to be the devils advocate. I just realised you and I said the same thing.

Hehe, u workin on commission with boaphile Morti? Heck of a salesman! J/K. Thanks thats just what i was looking for, some good solid arguments. Well not exactly what i wanted. What i really wanted you to say was " Those vision cages are great, far superior, and they cost less what a steal!" But once again i guess you get what u pay for, looks like the boaphiles are still the way to go. Still open to more input from others, even if it is against the vision cages still, it will help convince me even more to go with the boaphiles

Speaking of cost, just so we are comparing apples to apples here, the vision cage that measures 48 X 28 X 18 has a list cost of $274. They officiall list shipping as $14.95 but they also note that the cage is over the standard weight limit and they will have to adjust the shipping cost (and it ain't going to be adjusted down. ). The total before "adjustment" is 288.95
The closest boaphile in size measures 48 X 24 X 17.5 and it costs $299 (and shipping is free!).
So where is your savings again?

Ya, I have NO problems with pulling out my 8' boa or putting her back in a Boaphile cage. PLUS, newspaper fits PERFECTLY in them. No cutting, folding...just open up the paper and lay it down.
