Question Perch help

I've been contemplating gluing a vine to the sides of my tank, but then I probably would never get it off (something I might want to do in the future) so I'm looking for other options.
I have seen the cool homemade PVC pipe perches that sit on a base for birds, and they could easily be made for snakes, but bulky joints and barcodes aren't really aesthetically pleasing.
So, what's left? If anything? Are there other non-permanent ways of attaching the vine? Or, for that matter, any place that sells Y shapes logs that I could make due with? All the wood products I ever see is driftwood, and even the stuff like this wouldn't really work for a perch.

Re: Perch help

Bulky joints and barcodes can be hidden by wrapping some silk vine around the pvc contraption.

Re: Perch help

You can also lightly scorch the pvc (outside or in a well ventilated environment) to hide the bar codes and other writing, and to give the plastic a more natural looking feel.

Re: Perch help

What i did was find some good "U" shaped braches, that go from one corner to the other, and lifting up in the middle, but resting on the back of the tank. Just make sure its tight enough so it doesnt move at all. You can see pics in one of my posts.

this is assuming you have a glass tank. If you have wood sides, you can always screw in a hook on the enclosure, and a eyelet screw on the branch to attach it.
