Cage Questions
I am looking to build a set of three cages for my rtbs. I was wondering what kind of wood is good to use? And what is the lowest height that would be ok? would a 12 inch height be ok for the snakes? I want to build it to where all the cages are stacked on one another to save space. I was thinking 6ft. long, 2ft. deep. and maybe 1ft. high for each cage with 1 ft. space in between each of the cages. would that be a good design? Is there anyone that has done that before? Any advice will help. Thank you.

Re: Cage Questions
I use Oak Plywood for mine. It's a nice, strong wood. As far as dimensions, I can only say that you should offer as much room as you can afford to. To me, a 1 foot tall cage is very small. But that's just me. Mine are minimum 2 feet tall. Good luck!

You need a height of at least 17 inches but preferably 24 inches or higher for adult boas.
