savs get 3+ ft in legnth. the closet i would guess would be a good size if it was wider.

No. They will dig through the sheet rock. You would need "Steel" to reinforce the bottom, sides etc. They can dig like nuts when they want out.

I would suggest a lizard. It all depends on what you want. A trio of beardies could do really well in their.

the space underneath the door would be big enough for them to get out i think. Plus i have a beardie already. i really want another snake? but bigger? there is not many laws against reptiles in Houston. but mabey an iguana? nah idk im open for suggestions

no this is not true. its very rare for even 2 beardies to get along(it would have to be 2 females) males are very territorial and will constantly fight. and with the closet being 18 sq ft thats not big enough d=for 3. thats just big enough for 2. 1 beardie needs 8 sq. ft of floor space. if u decide to get a sav i think soil is a good substrate and maybe just find a way to put plexi glass on the walls so the moniter wont be able to break the wall. and put a peice of wood down on ur floor so the substrate doesnt dirty ur floor.

do u really want a 20 ft snake in ur house. a friend of my godmothers had an albino burm about 12 ft long i think. they went on vacation for a week. they fed the berm before they left. it got out of its cage and destroyed some stuff in their house. i wouldnt get a burm. a 20 ft snake could easily eat a human. especially since im pretty sure berms are active at night and when ur sleeping u never know what couuld happen

If you convert a closet into a cage, you are doing permanent property damage to your home. The urine will soak into the wood and in a very short time, there will be an odor that will never come out till the boards are all ripped out and replaced. Also the proper heating and lighting becomes tricky and a good way to burn your house down. Ever thought about just building cages for your animals and hanging clothes in your closets?

I have converted my closet into a cage. Some neccasary steps must be taken to be sure that property damage doesnt happen and if when you do move you can pick up and go as if nothing ever lived their. I did a list of about 12 things to make sure humidity, lighting, urine-feces wouldnt wreck the closet. And my reptile is also very cleanly and potty trained but these a neccasary. Here's my set up. If your looking into Iguana's check your local reptile adoption place they usually have a few.

you dont need to critize i am just thinking for the future. i do build cages and i have a herp room where i dont keep close in the closet so think about your own opinion first OK
