Joining two large aqariums together?

I'm getting another large snake this weekend. I had the idea of joining my 2 4x2x2 aqariums. The plan is to magically remove one side of each of the aqaruims & join the two large aquariums together with silicone? Good idea? Bad idea? Anyone ever done this before?

Wouldnt be an easy job but i dont see why its not possible. Make sure you use good silicone as well. And i dont know how you will make a top that will fit?

ya, I think I'm just going to give up on that & just start from scratch. Those tanks were too expensive to mess up. Plus, The snake I got wasn't as big as I thought she's be but she's still beautiful. I have a more than suitable home for her that will ast quite awhile.
