Custom Cage
Well, I need to buy my rtb a new cage; I recently moved, and an unmentionable idiot broke it between houses! And they called me paranoid for putting my snake in a seperate, smaller cage, she might have been killed! Anyways, she's about 3 3/4 feet long, and is in a tiny cage that is only about 2 feet long, about one foot wide, and a foot high. I have the money to buy a 4 1/2 foot long, 1 1/2 foot wide, 2 feet high cage, it's relatively cheap and has those front sliding doors that I prefer. This would cost me about $220. Can I make my own cage, bigger, for this much, a little more, or a little less? She loves to climb still, never dropped that habit, and I was thinking I could install some planks or something in a plexiglass cage. Anyways, I want advice on price and if it's not too expensive ideas for building a cage. Photos with creative terrariums would be appreciated

Forgot to add, if I build one I know it will take a bit, a friend offered my one of their cages for that time. I just can't keep it.

I am getting ready to start making a tank for my RTB and so far, supplies have cost me around $60. I got a 8x4 sheet of MDF, nails, wood glue, sealant, chicken wire for the top, and need a few other things needed
it will be 4'x2'x2'

Chicken wire for the top? Won't that hurt the snake if it rubs against it too much.

talk to adrya webb and take a look at her cages...there great and very simple as far as materials go and the build up. I just built a 4x2x2 with her design and with everything cost be around 60 i think. so you could build a larger one with no problem on that budget without going over.
