Well, I don't use heat lamps or lights, but I think neodeshas are by far and away the best. The only drawback is the expense of the rack!! I find the cages to be priced reasonable, but the racks....wow.

Hi Boaguy12,
I like the boaphile plastic cages better then the other ones. Now if you want to have a custom wood furniture grade cage I can make you one just about any size you want. You can see more pics and info on my site about my cages.
Take care,
Tom

A 4 foot cage would cost $842.00 + shipping.
Standard cage equipment:
Ceramic infrared heat emitter with a wire guard
18" x 18" KANE heating pad under the floor
Fluorescent light with timer
Casters on the bottom of the unit
4 air vents.
The bottom of the cage is sealed with a clear, high build epoxy finish to aid in cleaning, and prevent water damage to the unit. The 3/4"Oak plywood is stained to any Minwax color you like, sealed, and caulked. The cage has sliding tempered glass doors with locks. (Sliding reinforced Plexiglas doors can be installed if you prefer avoiding the risk of breakable glass.)
All wiring is concealed for a great look, and for the safety of the animals. This cage will last a lifetime with proper care. The cage comes completely assembled.

I was looking at getting new cages, for all the future snakes I'll get I was looking at the boaphile "Drastic Plastic" cages. they look good and you can get a 4ft. for $199 including shipping that's the best deal I've found
Has anyone tried these? here's the site Drastic Plastic

$850 is a pretty average price for handmade wooden cages.. (showcase cages and there
is another I can't remember right now... have cages anywhere from $700-1,000.. etc)
Alli_cat, I plan to get some of those cages soon, in about 1-2 months I hope.. (depending
on when I get my severence pay) I'll post a review when I get them.. I still have to write
up the review on heating the neodeshas.

why not just build your own? You can build a 20 foot cage for a little as you want or a 4 foot cage. What ever floats you boat.
