Heat Tape
I'm thinking of better ways to heat, for my soon to be new enclosure. I've heard about stuff called flex watt or heat tape, something like that. Can someone please tell me about it. Is it better then mats? Where to get it? How to set it up?Can you maybe post pictures of how to use it? I'll have a pretty big space to heat. It will be a wood enclosure. So I have a challenge to heat in a cool dry house.
Thanks

A quick google search gave the following link..
http://www.arbreptiles.com/cages/flexwire.shtml
How large of an enclosure? What type of wood construction? Have you thought about heat panels? It's more $$$ up front but the one I uses works very very well to heat my girl's 6x2x2 cage.

I love it, way better than heatmats.. pictures? look on the links for photos. Tape it on when you have it all together. Heats my whole basement-well all the cages down there anyhow.
