Forced Air Heat

Just Bought, Maybe Rescued Bp. The Guy I Bought It From Used A Forced Air Heater On His Tank. I Am Going To Get A Uth Tomorrow And Humidity Gauge But Didn't Know About The Forced Air. He Did Not Even Have A Humidity Gage, Just Guessed. Didn't Know If This Would Dry Out The Bp? He Did Say It Did Not Shed In One Piece. I Am Using It Tonight Because Everything Was Already Closed. It Is Keeping Temp About 85.

I would have thought that a forced air heater would very rapidly of reduced the humidity in the enclosure. If by nothing more than the amount of air it would cause to pass through the tank. The other problem would be in creating a temperature gradient as the heat would effectively be constant over the whole tank.

Cheers
Nick

I would think the forced air would be very dry..
If you have a vaporizer/humidifier you may set it up in the room with the snake, and mist it periodically to bring up the humidity..If the snake didnt shed in one pc Id be willing to bet the type of heater in this case would be the cause
