Question Boaphile Ventilation?

I was wondering if those boaphile cages have ventilation holes anywhere? Or is there enough air that gets in around the doors?

I've just been wondering about that for awhile.

Thanks

Mine has no ventilation holes, but sits well at about 55-60% humidity. I am in a dry climate though, so those in more humid climates might need extra ventilation?

So enough air gets in around the doors I guess? Don't snakes need good ventilation or is that not really a big deal? Weird.

ill try to grab some pics of it later. till then, heres jeff ronnes description of the ventilation...

Ventilation:

I have made a drastic improvement over other caging in the ventilation department. No more unsightly vent covers! No more need to leave stacks of cages apart because of the vent holes. No more need to leave cages away from the walls because of vents either. The venting occurs at the front of the cage. The door is mounted in such a way to allow a gap all the way around the door on the sides and at the bottom. This gap totals about 5 square inches! That is the same as a 5" x 1" hole for fresh air! This is about the same amount of ventilation you would have from two mid-sized unsightly vent covers. Great ventilation and no more vent covers that fall off and get dirty. Also improperly placing vent covers at the top of cages often creates a drafting or "chimney" effect allowing too much air to flow making it difficult to maintain consistent temperatures and humidity. Thought you might like to know!

Yeah, it provides plenty of circulation. I always know when my BCI has done his business, I can smell it right when I walk through the door.

Funny thing is, we walk in and I know immediately that its cleanup time and my wife just says..."Does something smell kinda funny in here?"

She just doesn't quite have the nose for the poo/urates smell like I do. I say that like I'm proud of it or something
