Driftwood
i know its a bad idea to put outdoor wood in an animals cage. But Is it possible to soak in boiling water or anything to make drift wood safe for your pets? anyone try it before? i found a really cool chunk of wood to use in a cage. its drift wood so nothing has been living in it and its partly petrified.

this summer
i am looking forward to this summer when we go camping to find more cool looking drift wood
my husband hates it when the laundry room is full of wood soaking or the tub
i always take the bark off of the wood

I also usually will seal mine so it doesnt rot from too much moisture..Plus it sort of helps keep out critters. (like mites) or at least, I hope it does
