not too bad and we might go this route but kellys dad is a master carpenter
and says he can build this for half that! i just need to know where we can order sheets of plastic 1/2 in thick?
also on these boaphile encloser do thay use vents or do thay not need it?
if we just build some stack-able plastic encloser how much flexwatt will i need for a 6ft encloser? also what is the best thermostat thats will work for all the boas&python? i will need two so i dont want to spend 250$ for each!

wood dose not hold heat or humity well.
and have u seen how much pee a 20lb snake lays down
the other night rex flooded his cage and the wood is too hard to clean
and cost more to heat then plastic! i dont want no heat lamps anymore just belly heat and day time light that will not put off heat!

They don't use vents. There's a 1/4 inch space or so around the door.

Wood holds heat and humidity very well and if coated with polyurathane is very easy to clean. look at your local lumber yard for sheets of material called azek or perma trim. It is pretty much the same stuff they use in boaphile cages but the price is almost triple the price of 3/4in sheets of plywood i would go for wood myself. I personaly like the funiture look compared to the black plastic loook.
