I just picked up some Silicone Sealer made by the Super Glue corporation and was wondering if it was safe to use inside my terrarium. I am planning on making a hide box out of a small cardboard box and use the sealer to glue down fake brown Spanish Moss on it. It says toxic when uncured, which I assume means still wet. It is dishwasher safe (always a good thing and it contains no solvent(?)..Would it be safe if I left it out for 24 hours and had a fan blow on it to dry and blow out any toxins away before I gave it to him? Thanks

Hey Shrub. Welcome to RTB!
As far as sealants go, I know aquarium sealant is safe. Not sure about the stuff you are talking about, but keep this in mind: When it gets into the enclosure and gets heated by the lights or CHE, it could cause the sealant to release toxic fumes. Others with more knowledge will be along and confirm/deny my thoughts....

if I were you, I would probably not use it, like ldydrgn said, you never know what could happen when that stuff heats up! -Juggalo

Shouldn't be a problem. As it's dishwasher safe, it can withstand high temps without giving of noxious fumes. So long as you let it cure properly, it should be safe.
